Readiness Assessment · $150 · One workflow
Bring Readable one consequential workflow. In about seven minutes, Read / co-pilot structures your evidence and scores it against a published rubric — eight dimensions, deterministic, no human required.
You get an instant measured report: a verdict, every dimension scored with your own answers cited as evidence, and a recommended intervention.
How it works
The rubric is public · v1.0
Derived from the Practical AI Readiness capstone objectives (Objectives 1–3: evaluate appropriateness, design the workflow, evaluate outputs against evidence). Each dimension scores 0 (absent), 1 (partial), or 2 (solid). Maximum 16.
Solid looks like: one workflow with a clear start and end.
Solid looks like: the intended outcome stated with a number or a date.
Solid looks like: AI proposes; a human disposes. AI's role matches what AI does well.
Solid looks like: a non-AI (or simpler) approach was weighed and rejected for a reason.
Solid looks like: authorized inputs are defined; sensitive data is excluded or governed.
Solid looks like: a named human holds final decision authority.
Solid looks like: written, checkable acceptance criteria; outputs verified against evidence.
Solid looks like: a documented exception path; outputs are accepted, revised, rejected, or escalated — never auto-accepted.
| Score | Verdict | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 13–16 | Ready | Go build. The workflow is sound; you get your structured spec back. |
| 8–12 | Ready with safeguards | Specific gaps named, each with a closing action. |
| 0–7 | Not ready | Structural gaps. AI should not touch this workflow yet. |
Why you can believe the verdict
A diagnostic that always prescribes the expensive engagement is a coupon, not a judgment. So the honesty is structural:
You just read it. Every dimension, every criterion, the verdict bands — nothing hidden.
The same answers always produce the same score. Versioned, auditable, reproducible.
Each dimension score cites your own answer as evidence. You can check the math.
The aggregate verdict distribution is published after the first 25 assessments and updated monthly. If every report said “buy a Sprint,” the distribution would prove it.
Audits calibrate the rubric behind the scenes. They never gate your report.
Every report states what it is: machine-scored from a published rubric. Not a consulting engagement.

Clear answers before you begin
No. It is a machine-scored diagnostic against a published rubric, built from the Practical AI Readiness capstone objectives. It tells you where you stand and what to do next — it does not replace working with a human on a complex engagement.
Owner-led businesses and teams with one workflow they are considering (or already running) with AI — and who want an honest verdict before investing further.
A measured report: a verdict (Ready / Ready with safeguards / Not ready), all eight dimensions scored with your answers cited as evidence, a recommended intervention with reasoning, your structured workflow evidence back, and a 90-day measurement plan.
You get the gap list — which doubles as the brief for a Business Visibility Sprint ($2,500), the engagement that extracts and designs the workflow properly. The assessment fee does not apply to the Sprint; the assessment did the discovery the Sprint would have charged for.
The scoring is: fixed questions, fixed scoring criteria, fixed verdict bands. Two buyers with the same answers get the same score. What the rubric cannot do is verify that your answers describe reality — answer honestly and it will treat you honestly.
No. That is the point. Pay, answer, receive the report. If your verdict prescribes a Sprint or the Academy, a human enters the picture then — on your terms.
